FAQ: HealthStream.tv / TCM TV
* How many people typically “attend” a webinar?
depends on speaker and topic. max is 100 we have had on several occasions. I say 65-80 is average. The numbers are there but again it depends on how many want to hear the topic and presenter. It does remain in archives so there is longevity to it.
* What is the nature of a sponsorship...i.e., what does a sponsor actually get for their $$?
Banner ad, verbal mention at the beginning and end of webinar and link posted in chat room. Chat and pdf of power point is included for free in the archives. so you get exposure in the live webinar, you get exposure if anyone buys the archive, you get exposure for the free chat and handouts on the site.
* How many webinars do you have each month?
4-12 webinars/month on various topics
* Do you ever have two companies splitting sponsorship?
no, but we have several companies sponsor the same webinar. Think about it.. you have a full hour of exposure to your target market. By allowing more than one to sponsor it alloes to charge $300 and not $3000 per webinar. There is no exclusivity unless you pay very much extra for it.
* What is the size of your email list? Public or Practitioner?
newsletters sent to 10,000+ TCM practitioner related emails (3000+ average open rate each mail out). This is probably one of the single most powerful places to advertise with us. We send out multiple TCM TV eblasts each month so be sure to 'wheel and deal' your way to fantastic exposure!
* Cash is tight, what is the low down on the ROI?
$300 ad in one of the journals or websites has a one second chance to make an impression and then it gone. Webinar gives you an hour and you have a visual banner with link, plus verbal thank you recognition and then more so on books and products if applicable (moxa book, ointments etc). Back to ROI. How much revenue does a new customer bring to BP over 1-3 years. Would you pay $300 to have 5 new customers who hopefully order for a lifetime and not a one off. Cash is tight... would you spend $300 to make $1000 or prefer to save cash and spend $50 and make $40? I do not know your business in how much cash flow a new customer brings. Figure out your break even and then decide how many new customers you need to get to break even for your $300 investment. and realistically do they order once or for years. Maybe one new customer would make you $300 plus over 9 months and that is worth it. Again, this is for you to decide.
